Tooth Aligning (Orthodontics)

Malpositioned teeth not only hamper the appearance, it plays a negative role in jaw growth and oral hygiene.

1. Using Braces:

Dental braces are used to permanently align, straighten and position the teeth where it is supposed to be. It takes months to years to get the treatment completed but younger the ages lesser the time required and better the predictability. There are different kinds of braces, some high end braces can be used in an invisible manner also.

Being a long term aesthetic job performed by the super specialist, Orthodontic treatment is a bit costly as compared to other routine dental treatments and the cost further depends upon the amount of correction needed and the kind of braces to be used. It usually ranges from Rs 50000 to Rs 1 lakh. But, when it comes to you or your child’s permanent look and alignment of teeth, it can never be a concern.

2. Using Aligners:

Some particular conditions can also be treated without having braces fit on the teeth. Series of transparent trays are given to wear as per specific instructions. These trays are called ALIGNERS, which are more comfortable to wear and esthetically more pleasing than the conventional braces. These trays are prepared by a group of highly skilled specialists using artificial intelligence (AI). Gross final outcome can be seen in a 3D simulation, even before the therapy starts. Treatment with the aligners usually ranges from Rs 80000 to 2 lakh. Considering the comfort of wearing, predictability and appearance the aligners are obviously a better choice than the conventional braces.
