All such worries originate from some gum diseases. We call these gingivitis (milder form) or periodontitis (severe form). With the advancement of the disease, gum gets detached from the underlying structures and several types of micro organism harbour in that crater (pocket) resulting in bleeding, foul smell and sometimes mobility of the teeth.
This periodontitis lead to loss of tooth/teeth if left untreated. It can attribute to stroke, cardiac diseases, lung issues, diabetes, pre mature low weight baby (in pregnant mothers).....To name a few.
